I can’t remember who said you can either Laugh or Cry.
Having a child on life support machines for 11 years I have laughed and cried
many, many times. I have “tried” over the years to show Mighty Z and Lala the
humor in having a child and sister on life support machines. Yes our humor is a
bit dark sometimes, but it does help us though many tough times.
Yesterday Mighty Z and Lala were listening to Christmas music
and the 12 days of Christmas was playing. First the girls made up a silly song
called the 12 days of foodmas and then came the darker, sillier song of the 12
days of sickmas. I will admit that they had me on the floor laughing with both
songs but I did like sickmas more than foodmas. I thought all of you who have
special needs kids and those you don’t would like to hear /read the “12 days of
Sickmas”
